Boccia Club – A Game of Strategy, Strength and Success

By Tarek

Boccia is a game of strategy, strength and skill. The aim of the game is simple: get your ball as close as possible to the white target ball. But behind that simple idea is a game that really makes you think.

Boccia is a game where you use your hands, your power and your brain. Players must think carefully, plan their moves and solve problems as the game develops. It’s not just about throwing the ball — it’s about strategy, focus and teamwork.

For me, Boccia is also about fairness and success. It’s a game where everyone has a chance to do well if they think carefully and play with determination.

I started the Boccia Club last year because I wanted to turn it into a disability sport that inspires others. My goal is to show disabled people that sport can still be enjoyed and achieved, even when life presents challenges. Sport can bring people together, build confidence and prove that disability should never stop anyone from taking part.

The club is a positive and welcoming place where people can develop their thinking skills, improve their game and enjoy spending time together.
