At Our Barn Community, we are incredibly proud to celebrate the achievements of a remarkable young member: Darrell Myers, the well-deserving recipient of RAM Agency’s Team Member of the Year 2025.
Darrell was first introduced to Our Barn through his yoga teacher, Kelly Meadows of KDYoga, who recognised his potential and curiosity. He joined the Our Futures course in September 2024, bringing with him a quiet determination, strong work ethic, and an eagerness to grow.
Throughout the programme, Darrell stood out for his unwavering focus, team spirit, and exceptional timekeeping — always travelling long distances to arrive in Brentford promptly and ready to contribute. His professionalism in communicating complex commutes and managing his time was a model for others.
Darrell set the tone for his team at Pump & Grind Community Coffee Shop, located within the Museum of Water and Steam, where he helped bake delicious treats weekly. His commitment inspired fellow participants to raise their own standards, creating a positive and motivated atmosphere.
As part of his personal development, Darrell sought support with job applications, CV building, and future planning. His determination has already borne fruit: he has successfully completed several qualifications, including:
- Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene for Catering
- Health and Safety Learning Course
- Allergen Awareness Training
A proud and social individual, Darrell maintains a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle, attending community events with EnhanceAble, United Response, and KDYoga. His positivity is infectious, and his love of music — particularly his favourite tune, “Everybody Loves the Sunshine” by Roy Ayers — brings warmth and joy to all who know him.
This September, Darrell will be attending a well-deserved winners’ retreat hosted by Youngs, a celebration of his hard work, growth, and bright future ahead.
